The problem we solved

The shoes were always the villain.

Every wedding, every sangeet, every celebration — the story was the same. A stunning lehenga. A blister by 9 PM. Heels abandoned under a table by 10. The most joyful events in Indian life were being cut short because no one had made footwear worthy of them.

Meet Kirti Johri

Founder & Creative Director · 15 years in global fashion design

Kirti spent 15 years designing apparel and footwear for global fashion brands — understanding construction, materials, fit, and what makes a woman feel powerful in what she wears.

She had seen how the world's best labels approached footwear. She knew Indian craftsmanship could match it. What was missing was someone willing to build that bridge — between couture aesthetics and Indian artisanship, between occasion dressing and real comfort.

WalkStalk is that bridge.

Months were spent working with Indian artisans, sourcing brocades, jacquards, and embellished textiles rich enough for couture — but designed to move, dance, and last all night.
